CCA - Certificate in Culinary Arts

Background Information
The Certificate in Culinary Arts program is designed to expose students to relevant skills and basic knowledge in food preparation. This program is designed to give students the opportunity to obtain a minimum academic qualification, which will enable them to enter the culinary industry workforce. At this level, students will be exposed to the operational side of the food preparation industry and the various skills demanded by prospective employers. Completion of this program would enable students to proceed into either the Diploma in Culinary Arts or Diploma in Pastry Arts as it is one of the recognized minimum entry qualifications for those who do not meet the diploma entry requirement.
